Health and Safety Policy

Objectives

Scope HSEQ believes that all incidents and accidents are preventable. Our goal is to be recognised as an industry leader in its health and safety performance and to eliminate work place hazards as far as practicable.

Scope HSEQ will comply with all relevant OHS Legislation, Industry and Client specific requirements.

Strategy

Scope HSEQ will achieve these objectives by:

• Ensuring our core values of integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance and discipline are reflected in everything we do.
• Developing and maintaining a safety culture through close attention to the details of our activities, and through motivation and training of all employees.
• The provision of safe working conditions for all employees and holding safety and health in the highest regard.
• Stringently complying with all relevant OHS legislation and other Industry and Client specific requirements.
• Establishing measureable health and safety objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at the elimination of work-related injury and illness.
• Consulting with stakeholders to identify hazards and risks in all aspects of our operations and to accommodate these to prevent incidents from occurring.
• Develop and maintain a rehabilitation program which places the needs of the injured employee and their family at the forefront, and which allows for the early return to work on restricted/alternative duties if required.

Implementation

The Managing Director of Scope HSEQ shall ensure that all necessary resources and support will be available to ensure the successful application of this policy. This policy applies to all Scope HSEQ employees, contractors and other personnel involved in activities pertaining to Scope HSEQ operational activities.

Quality Policy

Objectives

Scope HSEQ provides a comprehensive range of Integrated Health Safety Environment and Quality consultancy services such as auditing, inspections, technical support, system development, system maintenance and tender support.

Scope HSEQ is committed to establishing and maintaining an Integrated Management System to control the quality of our management and operational processes to meet and exceed client expectations in a proactive, professional and cost-effective manner.

Strategy

Scope HSEQ will achieve this objective by:

• Ensuring our core values of integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance and discipline are reflected in everything we do.
• Maintain and continually improve our quality assurance system based on the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard.
• Ensuring that all procedures used in our system are regularly reviewed and techniques improved whenever and wherever necessary.
• Adopting a philosophy of continuous improvement seeking performance feedback from customers and addressing all opportunities for improvement. Ensuring our IMS is constantly evolving and relevant to our goals.
• Stringently complying with all relevant legal and other applicable requirements.

Responsibility and Authority

Scope HSEQ Staff and Employees know what is expected of them in achieving quality. All personnel are given the required levels of authority to identify and correct issues and to initiate corrective actions that will prevent further occurrences of the issues.

Environment Policy

Objectives

Scope HSEQ is committed to managing its activities to minimise any adverse effects on the environment. We recognize the importance of conserving the environment and treating natural resources with care and want to work towards developing an ecologically sustainable business. We aim to adopt a reduce, reuse and recycle approach in all our operations and prevent pollution that may harm the environment.

• Ensuring our core values of integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance and discipline are reflected in everything we do.
• Ensuring environmental management is integrated in the planning, development and implementation of our activities.
• Stringently complying with all environmental legislation and other Industry and Client specific requirements.
• Establishing measurable environmental objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement.
• Continuing to seek, evaluate and use, when appropriate, new technologies and methodologies that enhance the ability to conduct operations in a manner that reduces environmental impacts.
• Prevention of pollution by using energy, water and other resources efficiently and reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste.
